If you’ve started to feel the 2024 U.S. election is sizing up to be The View versus The Dude you’re probably not wrong. The cultural schism in America seems to have moved from a hardline Left/ Right tussle to a conflict between unmarried women and their support system. 

Between now and the election in November expect more Black Swan events to unsettle the public and advance the globalist agenda. During that time, never forget that confusion and chaos are the calling cards of the Far Left. Far from being a problem, the head-spinning reinvention of normal is their goal. Don't believe legacy media, they're happy for this.

Biden appointee Kim Cheatle claimed the mantle of “the buck stops here.” She promised transparency in finding out why her department had failed.  What she didn’t do was resign in shame for almost getting the former and likely future POTUS killed.

Whatever the LCBO strike result it’s a safe assumption that no one in the Canadian bureaucracy will be losing their jobs to the free market. The huge bumps in hiring since Covid show a colossus that has no intention of giving back its power to regulate. From liquor to climate Canadian politicians have ceded responsibility for areas that can be handled more efficiently and cheaply by civil servants and consultants.

By the late 1990s, social media had raised its insubordinate head with cheeky new academic and research sources on climate. The modern equivalent of Gutenberg’s press allowed common people to access news— without  the political and media intermediaries— and to make their own conclusions. The purchase of Twitter by iconoclast Elon Musk provided a further counter-argument to the hysterics in control at legacy media. This was intolerable to Steven Guilbeault..

After years of telling gullible viewers and readers that Biden’s stoned persona was a Republican construct they were exposed (again) as chancers and liars and reprehensible frauds. While Sheila Copps tried to play the Libs as a plucky underdog, the party HQ threw everything and everyone into the riding to rescue her party from the hatred for Justin Trudeau. It wasn’t enough. In fact, their desperation worked against them.  The Forest Hill set, apprised of new capital-gains taxes, told cabinet ministers and other party hacks they’d rather boil in a Tim’s Dark Roast than support Sinbad the Black Face PM anymore. 

The voice on the other end of the line was grave. This retired financial executive says Canada is effectively bankrupt. He’s seen this coming after his almost 50 years in the Canadian industry. A decade of profligate government spending, Canada’s massive debts and electing activist politicians have brought Canada to a nasty place.

So it's a wiser population that thinks that Ben is interesting, and they want to know what’s happened to him.

For Canadians who think that rising commodity prices, carbon tax increases and  corruption of the federal government are their biggest concerns, we have news for them. If you listen to the bien pensants of Canadian media, the greatest threat to the nation is Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre.

Boomer spectators watching Seinfeld’s amusing 17-minute commencement speech at Duke probably summed it up for themselves by recalling the Seinfeld mantra, “It was a show about nothing.” And they’d be right. Jerry is the man for those times. 

The clock ticks. Even Justin’s former finance minister Bill Morneau is warning that the bubble is going to pop if Justin keeps printing money to keep real estate values so unsupportably high. The entire middle class of Canada, which has ridden the real estate train, will then see their life savings evaporate like Jody Wilson Raybould’s political career. 

Whether you’re in the stock market or real estate the question of when to sell is paramount. When to dump a tanking investment or sell a house in a bad market is an art form. Hence the expression, Timing is everything. For the incumbent governments in Canada and the U.S. the time has come to make that risky decision of when to fish or when to cut bait with their respective leaders. 

It has all become mob mentality packaged for feckless media. The Hamas doctoral groupies don’t demand anything from Hamas beyond their faux-serious chants and designer kaffiyehs in the House of Commons. No doubt Zia Haq will join them again soon in the struggle. If Steven “The Green” Guilbeault can go from criminal to cabinet, Canada is wide open to him now.

As the Calgary’s schmozzles and Edmonton’s dabble in climate extravagance illustrate the municipal level of government in Canada is a few lobsters shy of a clambake. Across the country major cities are in the hands of radical NDP soldiers or virtue warriors who would rather have symbolism than sewers to talk about. 

Sure, Justin told the UN his citizens are genocidal, applauded Nazis in Parliament  and showered his pals with graft. But wasn’t Mulroney also found counting bribe money from paper bags in a hotel room? Surely, the charity shown to Mulroney will also be extended to Trudeau in the fullness of time? 

With polls that even Biden would faint over, Justin Trudeau is ramping up the disinformation dodge with the same fervour as the MSNBC fainting goats. Skippy has added a little Russian sauce to his equation, claiming that Putin has Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre in his control, manipulating the public to abandon Ukraine. 

Isolation is their nightmare. While they recognize that Justin can’t dance and Melanie don’t rock ’n roll, there’s safety in staying under their skirts. They won’t have to turn on CBC or CTV and confront rubes in Charlottetown who’ve noticed that Team Trudeau is selling PEI off by the pound to the CPP. They’ll be able to trade Saturday Night Lies skits with fellow travellers.  And that’s not such a bad life, is it? Especially when someone else is paying.
